For a five months internship, I work for Naguisa, a footwear company in Barcelona.
Co-founders Pablo and Claudia gather their abilities in architecture and design to make women's shoes since 2012. Little by little I learn shoe-making in their studio. My job is to design the graphic of the coming packaging (shoe boxes, wrapping papers, envelopes, adhesive tape) and to produce the textile collection for SS 2016. We recently traveled to Alicante, a region located in the South East of Spain, to visit the traditional factories that work for them. The point was to send SS 2015 collection to production.
