ELSA was designed for the French industrial Group St Gobain Adfors partner.
It is made of a range of three double-sided luminous panels that can line up on a wall or be used to divide the room elegantly. Working on the looms, I created a prototype with integrated LEDS, thus driving the light through the whole fabric, using woven optic fibres. The partner produced a whole panel of 200cm x 60cm. Lors d'un partenariat entre l'ENSCI-Les Ateliers et le leader mondial en habitat durable Saint-Gobain Adfors, je conçois ELSA, une gamme de trois panneaux lumineux double face pour Éclairer Le Soir Autrement. L'échantillonnage se fait sur les métiers à tisser de l'école avec de la fibre optique tissée en trame pour conduire la lumière émise par de petites LED intégrées tout au long du textile. Le partenaire a produit par la suite un panneau de 200cm x 60cm, photographié ci-dessus. Voir l'édition associée.
