Graduation project (2016) supervised by Erwan Le Bourdonnec, French artist, designer and architect. Parcelles is an ensemble of three textile structures which aim to occupy public spaces in a modular way. I chose to work in a public garden in Paris where former railway lines are still in place. My first project was to create an undulating rubber floor attached to the rails, for children to sit, hide under or run along. My second project was a range of woven and printed deckchairs moving along the railway tracks. People can sit on the chairs and feel that they own, for a while, a part of the public garden. Finally, an open roof made of fused fabrics changes the sensory perception of the garden, moving with the wind, filtering the environment and projecting outlined shadows.
Projet de diplôme réalisé en 2016, sous la direction d'Erwan Le Bourdonnec, artiste plasticien, architecte et designer. Parcelles est un ensemble de trois dispositifs conçus pour aménager de manière souple un espace public urbain choisi : le jardin de la Poterne des Peupliers (Petite Ceinture, Paris 13e). Un sol ondulé en caoutchouc d'abord, fixé sur les rails, propose une surface de course et de jeux destinée à ceux qui souhaitent donner du rythme à la promenade. Des assises mobiles tissées ensuite, indiquent paradoxalement des surfaces de pause pour s'approprier temporairement l'espace du jardin public. Des toits ajourés enfin, créent un « espace du dessous » où l'ambiance s'accorde avec la temporalité du jardin.
